Yes i think so. Can see greens on radar making inroads now and plenty of steam left with this feature for us looking at the radar!

Just came over the M62, almost white out conditions over the top and -2.9c. It was 2c leaving blackpool, just over 1c round Manchester and only started snowing past J21 as the temperature fell off a cliff. Snowed most of the way down to Leeds, then M1, up to 2c, 4c by Nottingham and Sunshine by Leicester.

OK, it may be nothing but the humidity has dropped to 98%: this is the lowest for a couple of days. The temp has also gone down to 3.3°C so very small steps but maybe the first tiny hints of the air mass change. DP now 3.3°C.

I'm getting excited over changes of 1% - I really do need to get a life.....

rain here as per the forecast and slightly warmer than forecast, monday seems our best chance it seems for snow, then a very cold dry cloudy week to follow, hoping things pop up at short notice.

Sleeting here now just south east of Rotherham, though these bloody led lamposts just aren't as good for flake spotting

No, they really aren't are they? I realised this a couple of years ago and it was only when watching I realised they had changed the bulbs.....

Definate change to a wintry mix here. Wind also picked up and feels bitter.

Another hour or so and I imagine it will be all snow.
