Tick tock tick tock, this is agonising like waiting for food in a busy restaurant,  just hope it comes down thoroughly before Monday around here, I'm supposed to be off to both Norwich and Stansted for work and unless it's clear cut obvious I'll be on that perilous trip in my van the joys of construction...

I was looking for a nice snowy breakdown from the Gem .. Felt like it stuck two fingers up at me pfftt. 

Jees thats one heck of a cold pool over to the east.. will it pounce is the million dollar question ... but no matter what it has been a fantastic winter season overall so far.

Barnsley has done well last couple times and even got more than was forecast each time as well 30cm would be lovely not getting too excited though

Decent snow cover on a walk on the moors above 350m....we had a heavy bout of precip earlier on which gave a covering up on the moors. It was very cold and icey raining when I was up there and the moors were very very wet, all the drainage channels doing their jobs. Really crappy weather to walk in! Can't wait for it to turn back to snow properly.

Temps finally dropping again and rain has turned back to sleet once more. Not quite the drop we saw the other week.

Yep, big wet flakes mixed in with the rain now! Windchill is noticeable as well
