I think the Met Office warning across the region has underplayed the amount of snow and the affected area again?

Warning now updated across a more widespread area in Yorkshire and further South into the Midlands quel surprise!

Even Barnsley Interchange isn't immune to it. Of all the places, I'd have though this would be kept clear

Weather warning has been updated to imclude more of the midlands.

The end time is now 9pm and theyve spoken about a further 2-5cm at lowere levels and 10-15 over high ground.

I can only think they see some late morning intensification

Brilliant! We could be looking at 12 hours of snowfall then which is very good you have to say. I'm giddy now haha ?️

Still raining here on the Wolds, East /North Yorkshire border, looking up at the hills towards Driffield/Sledmere they have a slight covering.

I dont see a 9pm finish myself though.

I would suggest this has to be for the midlands mate and im dubious of intensification but the euro 4 shows the best period between 10am and 12pm sp we shall see i guess!

Its when the front backs west before sliding down south causing it to intensify?

Is issuing a warning this late doing anyone any favours?

Potentially im trying to get my head round it now. The pattern of precipitation hardly matches any of the high res models but there is signs now of backing up
