Yeah i reckon around 8pm! I guess well see come the end it may all die out but going off whats forecast to come the met could very well have egg on their faces

I would say the forecast <200m to C/S Yorks whilst largely improved is still only a 60% aerial coverage of snow. This because in some places the evaporative cooling requirements wont be met.

Started coming down as ice pellets and snow here at Mountain, Queensbury about an hour ago. We are around 350m above. Its steadily turned to snow and is covering nicely. Be interesting to see just how much we get

Keeping them at home today. Had major problems collecting them last week and it looks like we might have a similar snow event today in Harrogate.

Keep us updated KLR as I have you down as a potential sweetspot as well as down Rotherham way.

Anyone in Sheffield seeing snow

Wont be long mate the colder 850s are pushing south and west.

As long as you have the right intensity of precipitation you will be fine.

My rain has just turned to snow

You stil confident the mids will see some? It all comes down ppn rates really, I'm 29m southeast of brum, I'm on the borderline, but evaporative cooling doing remarkably well isn't it. And earlier than expected which bodes well for those further south

Steady, somewhat heavy snow here in Crossgates that's settling. Good luck all, looking forward to seeing some lovely snow pics later today.
