I think it is best in this situation to have a pattern in mind, and then see which model runs support it, which ones don’t and which challenge your thinking.  But the pattern in my mind is the total banishment of the trop vortex from anywhere near here.  So the UKMO gets a big tick

Brilliant start to the 12z runs. Its not beyond the realms of possibility that the meto will upgrade their forecasts with regards to next week's easterly.

Look at where we are now on the gfs at 126 compared to yesterday's 150 with how much the height's are developing in the Atlantic and a better easterly feed.
