On the subject of less cold Easterlies look at this chart for 6am on 4th January 1963. I can imagine a few Netweather members complaining about the ridiculously warm uppers and widespread rain and drizzle instead of snow. A few people would be writing off the cold spell! Less cold Eaterlies were actually a frequent occurrence in the 1960’s it’s just that we haven’t had many recently! 😝
