Dry as a bone here, but brrr, it sure is nippy.

I used to follow a local weather station on Weathercast to keep up to date with real time temps and dps, but for over a week the web page redirects me to Weatherpro.

Does an one know of any good sites for local weather stations I can use?

The Cardiff Bay Barrage one can be a bit hit and miss, and is often offline. I really liked the Bute Park one on Weathercast, but now it sees to be gone. ??‍♀️

Very wet snow has fallen here for much of the day. Video doesn't really do it justice but some of the flakes were massive!

Had some sleet here today, around about 150m there was some proper snowflakes, making it the 3rd weekend in a row that it has snowed here. This winter for my own location so far has comfortably exceeded previous winters since about 2010.

The ECM for mid week onwards shows what happens when the energy from the atlantic goes over the block rather than attempting to go under it, high sinks into Europe and we end up with a cold SE flow but largely dry.

Guys I’d suggest taking a look at buying snow shovels on Amazon over the weekend! We could be in for it from the end of next week!

To be honest i find this app more reliable than anything else when it comes to snow for my area.

Very interesting that GFS is showing the front stalling on Thursday... it's usually seen as one of the more progressive models. We could be in this for the long haul!

Personally, it looks to me like the model predictions for the next week are the most fickle and inconsistent ever! Perhaps if I consumed a large dose of magic mushrooms, things may actually be clearer!
