A few snow showers overnight have left a dusting.  Quite remarkable weather change from a few days ago when we got to 19 degrees with all that sunshine.

It’s cold but not freezing here.  The suns out, but there’s shower activity to the north heading this way.  Might be wintry in nature but it won’t be sticking as the ground has warmed up too much.  It’s not really so much an Arctic blast - just a cold snap.

After a brief less cold week back to colder weather by the weekend, proving again mother nature does what she wants to do ,not what we think should happen.

Met Office goes with further wintry outlook.Further wintry outbreaks overnight around 8pm.Further more persistent wintry outbreaks Thursday night Friday Saturday .So a continuous Northerly flow until next week.

Now showing on radar  heavier precipitation shown over N Ireland could be interesting after 8pm

Heavy snow showers on and off today.  Once they've passed through and the sun comes out it's lovely.. crazy weather!

Currently snowing really heavily!

Heavy hail or snow showers off and on all day and a bitter wind!  Currently snowing heavily.  Canned as many outdoor jobs as possible today, stayed in and baked.  Tomorrow morning is village community tidy day.  Wonder if we’ll have snow cover?

A Really wintry april day. Better than any easterly here in regards to snow chances.. We had around 10 snow showers most of them heavy with a dusting this morning.

The sunshine is too strong now for any settling in the day but I'm happy with what the showers produced today. Another heavy snow shower just gone through.

Do you still think we will get 3-5cm? We had a bit of snow today in Cardiff when I was working but not much really. My girlfriend said it was snowing heavy over Caerphilly mountain earlier but not settling.

Better chance of heavier snow Thursday night Friday with more widespread snow, amazing spell possible records broken - 7uppers heavier snow showers to follow into the weekend .Worth watching.

Little in the way of wintry precipitation being predicted over the weekend. Although lots of frost and sub zero temperatures overnight.

Lovely bright, sunny start today, with virtually no wind.  Its not freezing, but it is colder than average, and it’s the sort of day I woud prefer to see in March, not so much April!  There remains a risk of some serious frost over the weekend so I can’t take the insulation off the outside tap yet - already had the pipe burst once this year!

Just had a snow shower come through really dry and left a dusting. More shower's look to be gathering in the Irish sea
