Cardiff and Barry could be the sweet spot today lol.

Yes potentially. Bridgend would be my punt.

Fine flakes and light again now, not starting to accumulate yet other than on car roofs etc.

Same as week or two ago, where it came down in the south and bone dry in the north . Must be False radar for north or something this winter

Give it time. The radar showed snow for me for a while and nothing was falling, then suddenly it managed to burst through. Seems the heavier band is working it's way across, you should see some at some point.

Could easily get a few inches of snow today when that main band reaches.

It's not a radar fault so to speak, it's that the air is so dry beneath the cloud that the snow is evaporating before it reaches the ground. As the precip becomes heavier and the air beneath less dry, it should start to reach ground level.

Must be close to a switch to freezing rain. If it does become freezing rain, that could become nasty down there on top of any lying snow too.

Snowing here now - not fine grains either, only light - but it's calm, no wind at moment.

Barely snowing despite heavier precipitation over Cowbridge. Slight dusting but starting to melt. Temps starting to climb abit. Still -0.1c here. Need it to get heavier.

Met office it bit wrong again, ok very wrong . LOL

Bit of a shambles really, their forecast showed no snow at all across most of Wales.

This is in for most of the afternoon too.
