Looks like a bust for my location. Winds are too strong and carrying the snow elsewhere... We never do well in an easterly.

Its so light it looks like drizzle

For those further east it started off as tiny flakes and ice pellets for at least an hour it wasn't until the temperature starting rising it turned to flakes.

Snowing on the western coast here, although its blowing around and sticking in places there is an icy sound as it hits the window.

Band seems more patchy and to fizzle more over SW England, not sure we will actually get much here as the main precip has gone just a few miles too North

Nothing here, even though the radar says differently, knowing my luck it will be repeat of other week, where it evaporates before hitting the ground!

Once this warm front goes through, the cold front behind it is more active .we see.

What do you think for Narberth? Do you think the snow will hold or do you think rain is inevitable in the next couple of hours?

It’s so hard to predict this event - the mild air is tracking ever further east but the highest definition models all show some measurable snow accumulation by 11:00am in Pembrokeshire  - pretty much centred by Narberth!   I think the Preselis are grabbing the heaviest snow before it reaches me but you should be in just the right location.  It’s quite light snow here and blowing around all over the place so I don’t think we’re going to be snowed in today !

I don’t think we can complain so far. Forecast has certainly upgraded overnight and the radar showing why.

Hope we can get something from the outer band first but looking above, sounds like a lot of it is evaporating before hitting a ground.

Main part of the precip about to hit Pembrokeshire now.

Is that main band  modelled to be that vast and intense ?

Yes, I'm a bit surprised by the size and intensity of it too. That intensity will no doubt diminish a little as it moves into the cold block, but not enough to avoid a decent fall over much of Wales if it continues on its current E-NE track.

I’m right at the edge of the band under blue/green on the radar but nothings falling as what Marcus said earlier because of evaporation. Is this gonna happen all day?

Signs on the radar of re-intensification of the first band as it moves off the Channel into Southeast Wales.
