Arperge shows this for tomorrow

image.thumb.png.6726010a00f58771282185bd15dbd7f7.png

Harmonie has the front dying out before it reaches most of us and 12Z UKV also keeps us dry tomorrow. Who knows what will happen but I'm not confident we will see much tomorrow, still time for a backtrack though.

It's currently ECM, ICON and Arperge vs all the other models

Probably won't be much of a chase mate, more than likely a bit of light snow and that's it.

I'd be happy with any accumulation -however small, so my young kids can play in the garden. We shall see.??‍♂️

I fear it will be dry for most of us tomorrow but I’d love to be wrong

In the mean time I’ll share some pics of my parents house in N Kent who had around 8-9” of powder snow by yesterday morning

Today the snow has blown and cut off a couple of hamlets close by on the N Downs

i can't believe that after the present cold spell we're not going to get a snowy breakdown if only for a few hours before it turns back to the usual mild yuk we get all the time.  Just 1 or 2 days of snow would have been great but no, we can't even summon that here.  But look, once this piddly front passes through and introduces mild weather, look what we get.........tons of rain again.  God i hate the bloody gulf stream with a vengeance.

Hardest frozen ground in many a year as we ve got very little snow-covered which seems to be just evaporating in the extreme dry SE strong persistant winds.

BItter bitter bitter.

-3.0c already.

Could be a little snow tomorrow but it will just dry out,air hasn t been this dry for ages.

ECM an upgrade on this mornings run.

Front comes in early to the south west (around 5am), light at first. It then moves in for most of Wales, reaching a line of Cardiff to Denbigh around 11am. Turns heavy in the west but also more marginal around 10am-midday. Heavy Precipitation then transfers east, crossing all areas but starting to ease as it does so.

Widely 1-3cm, perhaps a little more on higher ground in the mid and west. Hardly St Davids Day 2018, but still some snow to end the cold spell for most.

Very cold and very dry here again this evening. Temp -1c DP -6c, perfect conditions the last few days for allowing snow to settle quickly if it does happen and its not sleet!!

Slight improvement on the latest UKV compared to previously, but it's flip flopping up and down more than a yo-yo!

Here you go mate. Ye fingers crossed, as Matt says very much a nowcast event. The precip comes in earlier on ECM which I think would be better for us overall.
