Looks like there’s a good line of precip heading over the beacons now heading for Swansea can it hold intensity or will the beacons sap ot before it reaches the coast

Very persistent snizzle here most of the day, not amounting to much but more than I was expecting on the West side of the beacons!

Persistent light snow for the last hour or so. Building in the more sheltered spots, blowing down the lane in little whirlwinds.  I wouldn't mind this happening every day, a nice base for something more significant at the end of the week.. hopefully.

Back in work now so less time to check the model output.  Was distinctly colder out there today.
I think things are firming up now for at least some of Wales to have quite a prolonged period of snow at the end of the week.

Could really start to pile up if this keeps happening. Similar to ECM this morn.

You'll get a clearer (more zooned in) chart on wetterzentrale. Doesnt look as exciting though, with the front decaying rapidly!

Arent the temps on the rise by then though? Light grains blowing about where we are now. Hopefully more this evening?

Met office has just uploaded weather for the week by Alex Deakin on Facebook and Twitter.  Mentions the risk of snow in the west at the end of the week
