A bit of train forming could get a dusting.

Looks like it. Needs a bit more intensity though, and it's strange with the sun bright to the south.

Can we all agree one thing? For the sake of sanity? Automated weather app forecasts are about as useful as Gareth Davies’ kick last minutes of yesterday’s game against ireland. Don’t worry about them they are hopeless!

are they really that bad ....if we went down to 14 men Ireland would have beat us by 20 minimum. Anyway it snowing here nothing heavy i suppose snizzle is a good word to use at present

So these flurries are coming from the west not the east?

the chart above I assume you are referring to is for Friday morning.......todays snow showers definitely from the east

Bit of light snow coming down here but nothing to dance about lol. It looks like Thursday/Friday's snow has been consistently modelled in some fashion. The question is how far the front can make inroads. We don't want it going too far east, as that risks milder air moving into west Wales. It would be nice if we all had some snow. The block seems quite strong so I guess it's more a question of whether it makes it to Wales at all. They've had some fairly decent snow in the SE it would seem. I must admit, I did identify with the frustration from some yesterday, particularly those in the amber zone who received very little.

Light flurries on and off this morning.. got a heavier, more organised shower falling at the moment. As sodden as the ground was, its frozen solid now.. freezing on the mountain in the biting north easterly

Had light snow here for the last few hours in Cowbridge at work. Very fine flakes and not even wetting the ground.

Very encouraging met office update today with potential for more snowy breakdown scenarios moving forward sometimes there will be milder interludes but short lived and the potential for no mild at all this screams lots of snow for wales as fronts stall and slide
