This heavy blob has my name on it! I just hope it doesn't lose intensity or change course.

That area of precip seems to be dropping more directly south each frame! If it does do that and holds intensity, could be a nice surprise for a line from Swansea to Newport.

They couldn't predict the northern extent of the snow so who knows if they'll get this wrong.

Still nothing in Caerphilly. The radar is a wind up!

I'd give it another 10 mins.

Caerphilly snow shield seems to be in operation - fizzling out just as it gets there

Well whatever just came down now was pretty heavy. But it's either sleet or graupel

The original front is forecast to sink southwards as it’s doing now. But as@RhysWales said earlier, the issue will be whether it has anything left on it by the time it comes through mid wales and over the beacons. I’ll be radar watching again either way

Fingers crossed for this precip moving south/SE now too. @ALL ABOARD great video!

Whatever I had has just stopped Jay and it looks like this shower's breaking up(the eastern side of it anyway). Half an eye on the main front now, but will probably not make it I reckon.

Still going here..

Missed most of the showers today but seem to be in prime position for another couple of cms.

Will measure when it stops.

Fingers crossed for the rest of you.

Actually, it is snow. "Cumul de précipitations neigeuses" = "snowfall accumulation". It's no doubt overdone, but the signal is there for a snowy weekend next week, so much so that the BBC's TV forecast for the week ahead has mentioned it.

Cant see it myself, looks too warm Thursday for snow. Weekend looks more promising
