I can see Haverfordwest from where I am, looks like you’re in the showers, what’s falling from them?

Im in Cardiff, family in Haverfordwest and I was using the airport station for the temp data http://www.pembrokeshireflyingclub.co.uk

They say nothing falling out the sky at all there at the moment, the precipitation looks just a bit too much to the south.

Actually, it is snow. "Cumul de précipitations neigeuses" = "snowfall accumulation". It's no doubt overdone, but the signal is there for a snowy weekend next week, so much so that the BBC's TV forecast for the week ahead has mentioned it.

Next Thursday looks interesting. A lot depends on how Wednesday's front behaves. In the 80s, it would be a classic slider followed by colder air...

Measured 12cm on the grass and 10cm on hard surfaces. Really pleased Currently snowing again now although more of the wet kind.

Well I stayed up most of the night to see it coming in, and then almost missed the fun of it by sleeping through the morning.

Here's a few snaps from my walk arpund Bassaleg (just outside of Newport.)

Chuffed with a couple of inches (not often I get to say that ) and just hoping those showers stay south as happy to not risk rain! Be amazing if this is just our first course before a memorable end to winter!

U think they had that pushing in early in the week just a few days ago so it could be fun for some people.

Finally, last night we had some big flakes and a nice covering! Very pleased! Probably almost an inch in depth and it doesn’t look like thawing much today, most of it is still here

Just stopped snowing now, we had a beautiful bit of pivoting going on, all winter wonderland out there.  Inspired enough to make a batch of pear mincemeat mince pies.

Brother lives down Cardigan and Newcastle Emlyn way. Says it is snowing heavy there again now.

Hopefully that will drift South and give some of the lucky ones a little top up
