The last few frames show another band developing over NW Ireland heading SE toward Wales.

I’ve been watching this too but most models show it getting sucked by the Welsh mountains before it gets to South Wales

Over 140 messages to catch up on, is something going on?!

Fantastic atmosphere in here tonight reading through it all. Good luck tonight everyone, this time it feels like it will be the one. Been a long time coming for us all.

Can't wait to show the kids some of the rare white stuff.

Alarm set for 5am to get us all up and take a walk. Make the most of it.

Nothing better than walking in crisp snow as it falls, with nobody else about.

Meto showing sleet and rain for here now tomorrow, still trying to be positive but a little worried with the northern extent and impact for us on the coast. Working in Cowbridge at 8am for a 13hr shift tomorrow so should see something down there I'd have thought if it does go wrong here in Barry.

As it the band occludes and tilts, it should pick up intensity and slow down

Feel bad for people down West, seems as if it’ll be mostly sleet down there apart from high ground

Looks pretty good, but for sure seems to be arriving earlier.

Apparently it's further north than modelled? Can anyone confirm?

I’m not sure, your looking better off than me in Caerphilly than on the Northern edge of Cardiff. It’s always deflating seeing just up the road the hills covered in snow but just rain down here on a number of occasions. Hopefully not the case tonight.

I used to feel the same when living in Cardiff and knowing Caerphilly has had snow.
