Not particularly windy or wet in the Ceiriog Valley.  Anything seems to be passing around us.  Hopefully it stays that way  except for snow, obvs......

It was odd because the radar had rain over us but we've had nothing until the last hour! Really rough here now - heavy rain, sounds a bit like hail on the window and extremely windy.

Just got back from my walk on the cliffs, was windier on the way back, the rain is more frequent now, but still light and showery.

Certainly going to be a noisy night! We have an issue with water getting into the (old) conservatory when the wind comes from the SW. It comes in under the window frames, onto the windowsill and onto the floor on garden side and through the roof at the house side. So we spent Boxing Day morning attempting to seal it up. Fingers crossed it works!

I feel your pain. I have a mysterious roof leak which only seems to let water in under certain conditions. Have had several roofers up there to "fix" it. Hopefully Bella won't expose it!

Winds picking up here and the odd flicker in lights.  Three legged black cat has decided it’s a perfect time to go out..... hope he makes it back, with his three legs...

Don't know if my phone picked it up, but Dover wind for now. Unfortunately, it was just a bit calmer than when I decided to get my phone and record, typical.

Certainly beginning to get a bit gusty here now,  nearby Wunderground stations picking up some good 40+ mph gusts and those are on the sheltered sides of the valleys where the current wind direction is concerned, going by how much the house is creaking they are probably getting to at least 50+ (I'm on the none sheltered side so getting the wind battering straight into the house  ).

Wow, it's really getting worse here now. Torrential rain and ferocious wind. I'm right under that red dot...
