One or two showers early yesterday evening but it was dry by 1900 with cloud eventually clearing to leave mainly clear skies during the second half of the night. A clear and sunny start to this morning.

Clear and cold overnight, widespread frost. Sunny this morning, frost melting.

Variable cloud overnight. A short spell of moderate rain setting in around dawn, clearing before 08:00 GMT. Sunny spells developing through the morning, by early afternoon, moderate showers broke out across the area, these clearing away late afternoon.

A dry and mainly sunny morning followed by sunny intervals in the afternoon as Cu increased from around midday  onward. Almost all the cloud cleared again after sunset.

Dry and sunny after a cold start with the first air frost of the season (in recent years this has occurred remarkably consistently in the second week of November, so a bit earlier than usual). Maximum 10.9, minimum -0.2. Wind light W.
