Been snowing here with varying intensity since 8.00ish, nice top up of what was left from earlier in the week. Might be turning to sleety rain just now.

Normal service has been resumed here - wet and horrible!

Hoping those who have the flakes enjoy, and I've got my fingers crossed for next week but am a little dissapointed that this one hasn't come off... oh well, as said above, you win some, you lose some

Getting heavier and previously cleared roads filling over nicely!

Rain here not even a trace of sleet, I'm at peace with it I don't like snow to rain events, I would rather just have the rain.

When you know the snows going to disappear and change to rain its akin to a supermodel taking you home and stripping naked then saying that's your lot and getting dressed and leaving.

Come and have a look at what you could have won as the great Jim Bowen used to say.

Delighted 101 seeing more snow though

Still hanging on as snow here despite being quite light.

Edit: certainly not light now. Didn’t expect this at all today. I always get the best snow when the met office leave me out of the warning area!

Jo - off topic, but I seen you're in East Lothian, and I've occasionally seen a photo of a standing stone that sometimes accompanies the daily Netweather e-mail. It very much reminds me of the stone near East Linton which I've driven past recently - do you know if it's the same one?

It's the one at Easter Broomhouse near Spott, not the one at the NB turn off

No snow only rain here...the temperature is +1.4deg/C so its cold rain.

You couldn't write it...a north east wind mid winter and instead of piles of snaw we get pishy rain.

Choked on my breakfast there

Yes @Mr FrostI just trolled through the mornings runs, definite improvements next week and dreaded uppers already looking slightly better with a more N tint to the Easterly.... Im quietly optimistic of some decent events.
