Another lovely day here. Spent trying to batch cook in this tiny wee kitchen. I've had bigger cabins on ferry trips

I think it's a half decent morning! Not that the view from upstairs tells me much

@101_North You need to move your house round the other side of that tree.

Temperature 6.8deg.C up from 2.3deg.C at 00:06, humidity 78%, wind 0 to 2mph southeasterly, pressure 1020.8hPa falling, no rain since midnight and 0.4mm in the last 24 hours and cloud cover is 3/8 thin and high.

Fairly nondescript kind of day. Minimum was 3.8c so still awaiting that first air frost (that’s not unusual for my location in late November). Max was 7.6c.

Steady rain here at 5C. This surely wasn't forecast was it?

Almost some Scottish weather for you, this was looking east while the plane was off the east coast:

Currently over the Faeroes

I love flying the great circle route going over Greenland and then over hundreds of miles of forest and lakes in Northern Canada. Hope all goes well for you.

Hope u have a great time @CatchMyDrift

Meanwhile for us I think those lampposts could be getting dusted off in the not too distant future, 850s -4 and below (still time for a bit cooler than that) and a trough / lower pressure  10B77EB8-5CD9-4A77-9B75-D9FA8BE655C7.thumb.png.b8bccf534ec30751f1dd0641f97527b7.pngF4176371-C330-43B7-B727-910AA5C5177D.thumb.png.0b917bab618fd44d32e908c634042683.png

Dry, light winds, sunny morning then clouding over in the afternoon.

Max of 6c.

Countryside starting to acquire that bleached winter look.

Morning all!

Hope you are well!

Keep an eye on Wednesday (02/12) afternoon/evening onwards for our next risk of wintry potential on low ground. :santa-emoji:

Morning all,

Cool start but haven’t quite managed an air frost here in Pittenweem with the temperature currently at 1c. Different story up the road at Leuchars where the low was -2c giving the second air frost of the autumn.

Half expected a car scrape before kids footie this morning but we were frost free! Temp was 2c when I got up. Haven't had a frost since first week in October which is quite incredible!

Not sure I'm looking forward to any sleety pish next week. After the last few weeks I'd settle for an extended period of blue sky and frosts!

Cmon mate - sleety pish could be the most we see this Winter! Embrace it.

We don’t all have the luxury of living at 1230 meters above sea level @CatchMyDrift - nice wee profile update there! Rubbing our faces right in it!

Current weather here 5C and low cloud/mist clearing - lovely day ahead for many of us with plenty of sunshine in the afternoon which I will gladly take! Been a gloomy/mundane/wet Autumn around these parts.

Min 2.7c this morning so no frost. Looking SW in the pic there is still some snow higher up from last weeks fall, waiting for more perhaps...

Heavy night last night, woke at 11:45, dragged myself out of bed at 13:15, so not much idea of what the weather's been like. Seemed sunny enough though.

Temperature now 3.7deg.C down from a maximum of 7.1deg.C at 12:43 and up from a minimum of 2.2deg.C at 09:24, humidity is 85%, wind between 0 and 5mph northerly, pressure 1024.1hPa rising and there's been 0.4mm of rain since midnight.

Right, I've been up long enough...
