One or two showers making it across to here now. Of rain I think though.  Definitely made it as far as Glenshee.

Rain on and off so far tonight on the shore.

However a new local observer is now available - older sister has moved in to a place up the hill. She reports sleet

Kinda glad I don't have to run that gauntlet this year.. I sickened myself with snow last year. Looking forward to recreational snow this year instead of troublesome snow.

Just catching the edge of a shower at the moment with a couple of loud cracks of thunder, hail and now some wet snow falling. A first taste of winter.

Just woke up there and decided to look out the window. Very surprised to see snowflakes blowing through. You can just about see them in the pic @Hawesy

I didn't hear or see anything but there's a slushy dusting of snow. There's loads of wet snow that has slid down the car windscreens/velux windows, so it must have been heavy in that last shower!

Great to see the snow pics.  No trace of snow here in Pittenweem, ground is wet though so we must have seen a shower overnight. Currently 2.8c.
