I am now at -0.1C so an air frost and already below min forecast for here tonight. Not sure if temps are to rise later in the night from the South as far up as here?

-3.1c at the moment and driving back from Aberdeen just now even some freezing fog patches in the usual suspect areas.

Gorgeous day though, unbroken sunshine and light winds, max of 5c.

Morning.

Beautiful day yesterday with wall to wall sunshine from morning till night.   Surprising really that lowest achieved here overnight was 0.5c as everything was white with frost.

Today however (so far) is a different day as we are back to the usual misty murk!

Eighth air frost at -1.1°C. Grey, still, cold. Marked contrast to yesterday:

Misty and murky here too this morning but the sun is now trying to poke through. Still cold at 0.6C  from a min of -1.2C, incidentally my coldest of the Autumn and only the 3rd air frost.

Overcast today but no mist and so quite bright. There's a lunar eclipse tomorrow according to Diablo. We'll see...

Temperature 6.5deg.C up from a minimum of -0.1deg.C at 03:52, humidity is 94%, wind 0 to 5mph north-northwesterly, pressure 1027.5hPa dropping, no rain today and total cloud cover.

All joking aside - deepest snow depths of the season so far predicted up on the mountains.

We could see twenty/twenty five centimetres of snow up on the Munro summits - especially in the NW/W.
Current forecast is conductive to those totals - temporary blizzard conditions as well.

Wee lying snow depth (mm) chart out to Thursday at 15:00 - snowfall begins over high ground Wednesday afternoon.

Exciting stuff for December! :santa-emoji:

Wee mention for Aboyne overnight as well - baltic!

Exciting times, and glad to see Aboyne hitting the headlines, might have a house to view in Aboyne over the coming weeks..

Well its been a long old day here in the Mair Snaw house... i did a fantastic Bambi impression out on the decking earlier and hurt me back.. then watched in stunned amazement at this afternoons Grand Prix... how a driver can smash threw a crash barrier splitting a car in to two as it burst into a fire ball and walk away from it with a broken wrist and some minor burns is just beyond me amazing to watch the footage...wow... and then to the football mainly the late game from the Premier league ive never heard such a sickening smash of skull on skull in all my life...but my favourite quartet has got me through

Lovely weekend here on Deeside but decidedly chilly. High of 4.6c today and a low earlier of -1.6c but it’s climbed back to 0.4c. Fab sunset earlier and very nearly a full moon, apologies for bad quality!
