Are the forecasts down for maintenance too?

Good luck with the Update Paul and looking like it a big update

Thanks Stuart.

I think we're going to be doing this tomorrow now.

I was looking forward to seeing what had changed when I came back on here. I presume it’s just the forum that’ll be offline when the update takes place?

Apologies that took longer than expected. We're still working on some of the theming as that was all reset during the upgrade.

Please shout if you spot any issues. I'll update over the next few days with details of some of the new features.

Hi Paul.  A few posts with embedded images aren't showing properly for me, and clicking on the images doesn't help.  For example....

I keep getting a popup showing when I navigate around the forum. It appears and disappears very quickly, but I managed to capture a screenshot of it.

This should be sorted now, hopefully.

Which browser are you using @Mapantz?

Also, it may be related to a new settings option which is the little switch / slider looking thing top right. Perhaps going into that and choosing a setting or two then reverting may help.

Using Edge (Chrome based)

I disabled all items, but that popup still appears. It just flashes up for less than half a second.

I can't recreate it in either chrome or edge. Are you running any addons?

If not, maybe clearing cookies will help.

Hi Paul

Has the 'edit' function gone, or just hasn't been turned-on yet?

Just tested on Chrome and Brave Browser(chrome based) - No extensions, happening on those as well.

I just can't recreate it at all, logged in or out, regardless of browser. I've even tried to limit the connection speed and it's still not doing it here.

I've had a look for bug reports mentioning it on Invision and IPSfocus who do this theme, and there's nothing I can find either. So, at this point it's pretty impossible to tell what's causing it on your end, but not for (I assume) the vast majority of others using the community, invision etc.

Hi. Is there any way to extend the comment section? The formatting of the page results in a quarter of the screen is took up by a blank space on the right hand side.

Hiding the drop down menu should automatically extend the page to full length I would’ve thought.

Thanks.

Text a bit easier to read on the eyes now admittedly. I don't really understand the basics of forum software but it working so it seems that's the main thing

No issues so far. I like that you have to click to expand quoted posts now which will make it much easier on mobile devices when a long post is quoted.

Yep, can see how that's not going to look great on smaller screens and tablets. Will look into what options there are.
