Can confirm that the band that passed over Gloucester produced some enormous flakes for about 15 mins. Nice to see

That's the same band I circled earlier, that gave parts of the Midlands a covering.

Not saying it will do the same here, but it may well provide some "back edge flakes" for the desperate amongst us.

You'll probably get the Gloucestershire Constabulary advising against all but the very most essential travel soon again mate.  Dangerous stuff there.

Bit of snow lying in the higher parts of the New Forest today. This was about 5 miles southeast of Downton.

Down in the Avon Valley it’s just been rain or sleet these past two days, weirdly both saw a ‘blob’ of heavy precipitation move across during the first half of the morning.

Right now its turning dark from the northwest but I’m not expecting much; dew point is about a degree above zero and air temp a few degrees. Going to take heavy precipitation for snowflakes to feature.

Yup. Stopped falling at 3C here, but then so did the precipitation. Yawn.

Cloudy for most of the morning before it brightened up leaving it sunny with mostly blue skies but I don't think that's going to last much longer. 4.6°C

Sleet in Longwell Green.

Going to make the most of winter for the next 5mins.
