A friend just sent this from Worcester, I've told him 'you can go off people you know'.

If there's even a whiff of snow about, you'll always get some in Chippy. Enjoy!

Dusting in Stroud at 80meters I can see the hills have a better covering . That area of ppn just north of me looks to be on the pivot and it will push south. If it intensifies then it could well deliver a little more snow as it pushes south to more in the region...

No snow here! Maybe we will get some later...

windy.com suggesting some snow in the afternoon as the front pivots and heads south.

Same here. I can’t get much closer to the sea so that don’t help, plus the winds coming from the sea add to the mix. Changes to north wind later. The waiting carry’s on.

Phenomenal results here .

Absolutely threw it down for a while, only late on did some huge flakes get into the mix.

System now fully east of here, unclear if it will return via the stall and pivot motion as the small low drops to the southwest.

This little shortwave slider from ECM may produce something for our region. One to keep an eye on.

Wednesday night/Thursday.

Must’ve been a wintry mix here as there’s a slushy mess left on the roads... something whiter on the roof though. Currently 0.3°C after a low of -0.8°C at: 06:13...

Yeah that last radar frame had a westward shift down the A303 towards Amesbury.

Deffo pivoting.... just need it to keep intensity/or gain and for it to pull south

Temperature has dropped here again, and the light winds have changed from a SW to a NW.

Forecast to disintegrate unfortunately mate, as it already looks like it's doing.

Was never going to be anything widespread or noticable anyway.  Putting my positive hat on, it looks like remaining on the colder side of average for the foreseeable future so there is every chance that similiar occlusions could develop and deliver something small for various parts of the region through the next week or so.

Hoping that we get some good, hard frost's , maybe fog too.  Love taking the dog out for an early morning walk in such conditions.

Squally heavy rain on the Cornish clifftops. Not surprised that it's rain although some of the heaviest snowfalls I've seen in recent times have been in Devon. All too marginal this time around for most people at low levels in the south but I wish great joy to those who get lucky.
