A few flakes beginning to appear in this shower towards Keynsham.

EDIT 18:23: It is trying so hard to snow here, heavy sleet atm.

Yes had heavy sleet here too - was driving in it and was very splodgy on the windscreen.

Cold rain at 200 metres currently here on dartmoor. Looking like tonights occluded front will head east of the moor on this occasion.

Looking further ahead now for the next chance.

There are one or two posters from Ireland who post in the model thread,  and do nothing but moan about how rubbish the models look, and it's too mild to snow. I noticed not one of them has posted since it started snowing over there!

Lucky them, maybe I'll start moaning about warm suppers and wrong side of marginal,  see if we get the snow like the are.

Lol yeah I noticed that, nowhere apart from up a mountain up north was going to see any snowfall apparently!

Hoping to see some snow flakes mixed in with the rain as that area of precipitation moves through early hours of the morning.

Safe to say it's snowing in Bristol, still a bit of the sleety kind but more snow than not!

EDIT 5:20am: Meh, very sleety now.

EDIT 5:30am: Turning increasingly to snow again.

Just woke up and popped my head out the window and it’s snow here at 80 meters elevation in Stroud. Definitely all snow but not really settling at the moment.

Looks like the front could pivot right over Gloucestershire....?

I’m sure above 200m it’s all settling so may be an opportunity for a walk in it later this morning

Nice to see the first snow of the winter.
