I am so wanting a really harsh frost here! I want to get my drone up in the air on a crisp calm morning and look down at all the frostiness.

I managed to bag a bargain Mavic Mini - Fly more combo kit from Banggood, using a voucher code I found on tinternet'. It was cheaper than anywhere in this country. A day after I ordered it, the price went back up hehe

Being only 249 grams, it's exempt from needing a drone license.

After an low at 11pm yesterday of 5.5c, the temp today has hovered around 7 - 8.3c but since 4pm has dropped fast.

2.3c band of rain heading in. Seem to be in the corridor of ppn for a little while. This line of ppn should turn to the white stuff above 300 metres locally shame I'm at 200 metres!

Lowest pressure reading of the year (975.9 mb) but very little wind today. Not often that occurs!

Snow is now falling in Princetown. Looking at the radar I'd suggest they are in for a snowy night!

Thanks Mapantz, that's the one I have with combo kit. Love the way the batteries charge up too , display and order they do it all on one unit .
great drone works amazingly well even in wind . Nice 2.7k res too. Longest flying drone at the time .

Morning All, some blue sky around early has been covered in as the rain approaches, after an overnight low of 2.7°C at: 06:40 the temperatures are beginning to rise as the cloud encroaches..currently 3.5°C as the breeze shifts into the west rather than the NW. A few folks out on the water, not sure why as the breeze isn't creating much apart from still water...

Bits and pieces of cold wet rain here this morning. Wasn't a pleasant walk earlier, especially walking back into the wind.

Good afternoon All,

We actually have a bit of sunshine here, it was wet first thing though, it does have a fresh feeling and I have had to crack by putting on the heating today whilst working from home.

Not much rain here and certainly no snow as expected. Dry and mostly cloudy now but with the odd sunny spell. 6.1°C
