As already identified a fairly overcast day along the coast, after a max of 12.2°C at: 13:19, currently 10.2°C, with a light breeze in from the N, some drier air as the RH78%... as the air pressure holds steady @ 1027.3 mb

Another dry and cloudy day. Reached 11.9°C, currently 6.8°C

Cloudy weekend, 0.4mm drizzly rain on Saturday, dry on Sunday. Temps hovered all weekend around 11c to 12.9c.

Temp dropped overnight, 10c midnight, a low of 5.9c at 5am.
Now, 7c, light grey cloud, 1027.7 hPa
Wind is moving from the N to NNW of the weekend to a Westerly and SW. Light 2-3mph

Morning All, overcast skies this morning as the beachcam shot shows quite nicely, a couple of showers in the vicinity....after an overnight low of 5.1°C at: 02:35, currently 5.9°C, RH95% and calm air..

Morning All, a partly cloud start to the day as shown on the beachcam shot this morning with an onshore light breeze, shown by the ships position this morning. A couple of folks braving the breakers...after an overnight low of 10.1°C at: 07:27, we are about the same temp now.

The sky almost has a summer instability look about it in places. Quite mild at 11C but not as bright as yesterday.

4 really lovely days in a row, variations on a theme cloud wise but very pleasant each day culminating in today being the mildest and sunniest of them all. Kind of like a heatwave in May-September which nearly always ends with the hottest day.

Mike alluded earlier to the instability in the sky being summer like. I wonder how hot today would have been in summer? Cold front out West drawing in air from the South on a warm wind.

A brief cool down followed by a reload of warm to hot weather from the continent in the coming days if it were summer.

I think it’s fair to say that I wasn’t expecting over 20mm of rain this morning! All that in less than 3 hours!

Morning All, interesting start to the day, the expected rain has scooted through and we currently sit on the dividing line of the air flows/temperatures:

Meanwhile after an overnight low of 11.6°C at: 02:07....currently 12.4°C , and 1.4mm of rainfall as the heavier rain was off to the west and now heads NE, out the area, the beachcam shows the overcast skies..and choppy seas from the onshore breeze

The wind direction is slooooowly turning in to the west as the brighter skies move in with the heavier rain area moving NW..

Damp and cloudy start with a bit of rain in the overnight period... the low was 10.3°C at: 03:21

Up to 11.7°C at: 09:01 but temperature has since dropped to 10.6°C

Ditto, Andy!  Had 22.5mm in the gauge at 09.00 by which time it had actually stopped and had no more since.
