Poor day today. Just 30 minutes of sunshine. Temp only reached 19.2°C.

Some beautiful days lately and a 50/50 changeover day yesterday.

First school run that hasn’t been a dry certainty and yep rain looks due to start at spot on 8.30!!!

Morning All, an overcast start to the day, after some welcomed (but much needed rainfall), overnight low of 14.6°C at: 07:14, currently 15.6°C and 1mm of rainfall overnight, here's hoping for some more today!

Meanwhile the beach shot shows the overcast skies..

Dark and wet this morning after turning dark and cloudy yesterday. Feeling cool at 14C too.

It’s turned into quite a wet afternoon so far with heavier rain following the drizzle. Also quite windy now as well.

Only had a few bits & pieces of drizzle here, barely dampened the soil. A few sunny spells, but mostly cloudy. Reached 17.3°C

Some really heavy bursts of showery rain moved through both in the early hours and about 4pm.  Surprised there were no sferics across the region.  Definitely a more autumnal feel today.

Properly raining again now, much breezier and it's only 10.8C! Very autumnal feeling.

Forecasts now don't look anywhere near as bad as they did a few days ago. Barely any rain today, a few showers during the early hours and maybe a few tomorrow evening and they are likely to be hit & miss. After that, Fri - Sun looks dry and sunny, and then slightly warming up at the beginning of next week.

Pretty cloudy for much of today with drizzle and showery rain at times, although it did briefly brighten up this afternoon. Cool especially with the breeze.

Frequent showers again today with a rumble of thunder early this morning. Was a bit warmer earlier when the sun came out but it’s felt very cool for a lot of the day. 11.6°C

First rain that registered in the rain meter yesterday for September, A few showers through the day and evening, some heavy, 1.2mm in total.
Been showers on and off today,10mm so far.
11c, 995.3 hPa, SW 15-18mph with a handful of 25-28mph gusts this morning.

Exactly 7mm in the gauge this morning and, so far, nothing today.  Showers have kept to the south of us, but radar looks as though we may get some a bit later.  Cloudscapes to the W and NW about an hour ago.

Since the morning showers, it's been a largely dry and quite bright afternoon, as is normally the case here in SWerlies. Expecting some more showery activity later as winds change direction.

A few showers today, nothing exciting. It looks like this unsettled spell will be short lived - not even 2 days.

A few more showers this afternoon but not as heavy as this morning and it’s been dry for the last hour or so. 12.2°C

Plenty of sunshine today, just a few brief showers after 8mm overnight. September now at 19mm, the other 11mm came in about an hour on the afternoon of Sunday 6th.

Edit ; it was the coolest day since 11th May.
