Felt warm yesterday with a max of 25.8°C and blue skies. Today was cooler, although muggy with a lot more cloud and even a little bit of rain this afternoon. Max of 23.5°C.

Well on the radar, it's supposed to have been raining here for the last half hour or so, but it hasn't and isn't. Not a drop has touched my garden let alone the gauge so there's not much left of that front now.

It's overcast though, albeit a pleasant 24°C following a peak at 27.7 in mid afternoon before we lost the sun. Feels humid.

A max of 26.8°C at: 13:52

Turned cloudier through the afternoon but still felt rather muggy.

It is currently 21.6°C

We seem to have had a number of days like today this year.

Hot air in place, sunny until early afternoon, maximum temperature in early afternoon so potential max not realised, mid level cloud arrives from the South by 15.00 which then brings sharp showers late afternoon/early evening.

At least you had until 3pm. Mostly cloudy from 12.30 here today.

OH met her mates in Hedge End last night. She said they had a bit of rain. Nothing up here.

I'm sure it'll be fine, but you couldn't make this up....

From thick fog at 9am to a lovely day now, if a little hazy.

Although it is cooler than yesterday with a max of 25.8°C at: 14:32... it still feels pretty warm with unbroken sunshine and just a little high cloud.

Still sunny here, but looking a tad hazy, wondering if that is a sign of some mist patches later? Anyway a peak of 27.6°C at: 14:41, not bad for mid September...

Well today is the warmest 16th September I've personally ever recorded. Not far off beating 2003, which was a few decimal places higher, although recorded by my grandfather, not me.

I’m in dorset on holiday. Had the joys of driving to peppa pig world this morning. Arrived at 10am and it was 18oC. Left at 3 and it was 28oC. Quite impressive. Just sitting on the deck looking out over Poole harbour and a nice cooling breeze is picking up. Still hot in the sunshine. I do love Dorset (and most of the SW for that matter)

Yeah, it was a bit of a starwars sunset, but they never come out on the phone.

Quick snap as I was in a rush to see a couple of friends but... that was a gorgeous sunset.
