So how is the chance of snow looking for Sussex? I’m in quite a high spot on the edge of the Ashdown forest about 130m up

Wind is very noisy here now. It's really starting I thinking., Rains not here yet, that'll be were it really starts, strong enough now.

Scratch that, I'm quite sure we've just had a huge house shaking, street light moving gust already, still Infront of the rain. Followed by another.

Hang on, is that twelve o'clock tomorrow afternoon, thought it would be done and dusted by then.

Some very loud gusts now, window and roof rattlers. Worried for my tiles if this keeps on!

Yep it's bad already, and unfortunately I don't think it's even started yet really.

The gusts are rather long now, keep thinking, oh no I remember that sound, and then it let's up. Thank goodness.

Gusts must consistently be getting to 55-60mph here now, proper house rattlers!

Very Choppy here with the frequent reassuring "bang" as something else is liberated from its moorings.

I have to say, despite that, I'm thoroughly enjoying listening in awe at Mother Nature. It's pitch black and the chimney is whistling at me.  My cat Pip is pretending not to be concerned, right next to me, for hours.

Received an automated phone call from Floodline at 6am. So decided to get up and light the stove. Went out to the porch to get some coal to discover the floor was wet. Got water running down the wall. Hoping I’ve not lost any slates, can’t check yet as it’s still dark, heavy rain and the wind is howling.

Morning All, not as too much rain overnight thankfully.

Just had local radio on with the weather week ahead for Norfolk will be cold only a odd risk of a wintry shower in the coming week, no sign of any significant snow either..

If you ever want a good laugh always head to the model forum...Love it when the cold rampers always seem to predict a snow event always 240 ahead , then disappear when it don’t happen hehe

Dreadful night down here in Hailsham. Really windy and a flooded back garden.

Hopefully that’s it now for a while and the next precipitation coming out the sky will be white not wet! To be honest, if we’re not in with a shout at the moment for snow, a nice spell of cold frosty weather to dry and harden the ground will be welcome. Hopefully our chance for the white stuff will come.

I feel for you bluebell with the fence damage.About 5 years ago I bit the bullet and got all my fence panels replaced and had concrete posts and gravel board-since then touch wood had no damage and we have had some pretty serious winds in that time.best £700 I have spent. That said noticed a section of felt blown off my shed from Bella so will need to sort that out today.Currently pouring down here and temperature down to 4.2 in Locksbottom!!Good luck to those who may see snow tomorrow/Tuesday.Think unlikely Kent will see any snow but those north and west in this region currently look to have better chances.Looks a pretty cold week here with maximum temperatures ranging from 2-4 degrees in this neck of the woods and nighttime lows probably around or just below zero.Looks mainly dry here but I live in hope to see some flakes fall and the landscape to turn white!☃️❄️

Didn't really notice any wind here, just a lot of rain.

Temperatures are now dropping nicely, already down to 5c (could be the warmest we see now for a good few weeks).
