There is real potential for a Kent Streamer on Monday in my view.

Uppers are just about cold enough, sea is warm, winds decent.

First snow flurries of the winter here in Chingford, NE London. I’d say about 1.25 on the Murr scale.

Thanks for the info. Nick.

That will count as a White New Year's Day for London then.

Bookmaker's take their lead from Data recorded at Capital Cities Airports, around the U.K.

I need that information for my Winter Weather Predicting Competition, in the Winter Discussion Forum.

Regards,

Tom.  ❄️

Hi loafer and a Happy New Year, to yourself and your Family.

I thought the same when I viewed the overnight runs, first thing this Morning.

As Luke (SURREY) said earlier, the 850 temps are gradually coming down.

For us Thames Corridor folk, think there's a shade too much N. in the flow at the moment, for a Thames Streamer and would think the predicted flow, would favour a Mid-Kent to East Sussex Streamer, instead. Which would obviously benefit yourself, there in Cranbrook.

Of course, this isn't written in stone yet.

Regards,

Tom.   ❄️

But then there's this the wording "not exclusively on hills" caught my eye

Anyway the best start to the new year for me on a personal level was getting a negative covid test having been working alongside several staff who are positive (must still have antibodies) as I had the virus in June due to unfortuante circumstance, so maybe this is proof that you can be immune even to this new strain by having the older strains antibodies

Anyway my last night shifts done off to bed have a great start to 2021 everyone

Did you take the test through having symptoms?

Anyone have an idea why those big clumps of showers over northern England and the Midlands stay largely intact whereas the ones coming in via the Wash/East Anglia largely dissipate?
