My temps got to 3.1 then lifted to 3.3 now stationary due to the cloud deck.

Im guessing a slow decline once the PPN gets going & hoping for a transition around 1am...

Whats your thoughts?

Temps dropped rapidly when the rain cleared didn't they? Little wind across the SE now, northerly polar flow across the Channel undercutting the rain shield, cold air aloft quite deep above shallow surface layer with little warmth left from earlier maritime flow incursion as polar air mixes it out from the NW, so any heavy ppn is going easily drop the temperature by a few degrees through evaporative cooling. Only 2.3C here at Caterham-on-the-hill.

Seems like the GFS has caught on as well - band of precip slightly further south by midday tomorrow.

UKV suggests widespread transition 2am.

Interesting only a few miles North east of you the same 0.2c rise here too by the thames 4.4- 4.6c so its around 1.3c warmer here than there which is probably about right given your elevation

Trust you to give good news Snips

Ah but look at Southend. As it is more Maritime (ok estuary) based you might think it would be warmer.

18z Harmonie up & running...

The most eagerly awaited run since the 12z Harmonie

!

It strangely still hasn't got this one right though. Radar shows precips over isel of wight - no sign of that on the Harmonie. Strange.
