Lowest Pressure I've found so far is 979.83 mBar from a buoy in the Irish Sea.

EDIT: I'll be very surprised if the Flag on the Llandudno webcam survives  Maybe we should give it a name like the Frying Pan Tower one

Gusts picking up here in Macclesfield, just had to close the upstairs windows before my curtains end up in Buxton. Small plant containers blowing around the garden and the fence panels have begun to rattle. Rain has eased off for a little while. Keep safe.

Don’t see inland winds this ferocious here very often. Extremely gusty! Just staked my new trees as they were going vertical and pinned down the trampoline! Neighbours new side awning has been ripped apart. Wasn’t expecting anything like this.

Very windy here now. Nothing exceptional for an Atlantic storm but still quite significant given the time of year.

56 mph sustained, gusting to 69 mph at Mumbles head. 75 mph gusts at Lake Vyrnwy.

Usual windy spots but very notable for August.

Definitely a evening here to be staying indoors and radar-watching the rainfall rates, already traffic building up around Buxton and Whaley due to numerous incidents on the road from fallen branches, a overturned lorry on the Cat&Fiddle, alongside the usual unfinished roadworks.

Nothing over 40mph here. Windy but good spells of sunshine this afternoon pushed the temp to 20.6°C.

It's roaring through the valley that's for sure. Lost our garden room roof about 30 min ago and now ripped the neighbours fence including the posts out of concrete! Really seems worse than anything we've had in winter.

The cross-Solent sailing I mentioned earlier was real good fun! I've not felt wind like that since being in Tornado Alley last year. Some almighty waves throwing the ferry around also. The gusty-ness of Southampton felt like a light summer's breeze afterwards in comparison

Ford Green Brook (in the Fields below where I live) has gotten a flood alert on it. Hopefully it won't be as bad as it shows on the map, or Ford Green Halls going to be underwater again.

Gusts between 50mph and 60mph since 1500.

Local damage being reported.

Comparable with anything during Winter/19/20.
