Same here, drizzle and a slight breeze not really gusting yet either.  We were supposed to be having 30+mph gusts by now, in reality they are barely getting upto 15mph on the rare occasion that they do happen.

I think we've got worse to come in terms of wind as the heavy rain clears from the area.

All quiet here taking it's time to ramp up plenty of rain though earlier on.

Getting very gusty in Weston-super-Mare. I have my window ajar facing the oncoming wind and it is making a lot more noise than I am used to already.

I find the GFS pretty good at short range with these storms. It forecasts the worst to hit North Wales this afternoon about 2pm, with winds 20km/h stronger than they were this morning - so we'll probably see 70mph gusts or more a bit later. The same model suggests gusts 55-60mph could hit just about anywhere in the amber warning zone later today. I'm guessing that this would have the same impact on trees as an 80mph storm might in mid-winter, due to the leaves.

Wind has dramatically picked up after the frontal rain came through.

Highest gust in my garden has been 14.8 mph so far & expected to peak at 5 pm. I didn't expect the sudden pick up in wind but it's definitely alive outside!

Beginning to hear that deep bass sound coming down from the sky now.  Wind must be screaming by up there.  Had the house creek a couple times too.

Also t'was Bin day today here, and there's alot of people who still haven't taken them off the pavement and back into their gardens yet.  I have a feeling I'm going to be seeing some going for a 'walk' soon.

Some amazing Waves at Porthcawl atm, the pillar of spray in the first image has to be about 70 foot tall (the Lighthouse at the end is 30 foot).  second one looks like a Hokusai print xD

Getting the Red Funnel car ferry back to the mainland later on - should be interesting. They were delayed enough when I came over on Friday in weaker wind than what's due today.

I'll probably sit outside on the boat and feel the force of nature across the Solent. Much better than sitting inside with a mask on and kids running loose.

Getting stormy and nasty here now. Trees really getting a battering. Small branches breaking off.

Let's all give an 'F' for the guy in the bottom right, he was standing pointing his camera at the lighthouse for a good 5 mins waiting, and when nothing happened he put his camera in his pocket as he turned away...

EDIT, just had fun watching a wood pigeon flapping as fast as it could but slowly flying backwards   Think it's getting a tad windy outside now.
