Come back and stay - Paul Young

The hot summer of 1983, and the warm sunny autumn of that year.

love of common people too, always played around Nov every year on tv as a Xmas song, when it isn't

It does have a slight Christmas vibe. The song already reminds me of that heading towards Christmas time, but also early January period.

East 17, stay another day too, hear it on The Christmas Radio, and music channels, in Nov, not a Xmas song either

I think the next thread relating to music should be 'songs that reminds you of the festive season, without a Christmas theme'.

Much like Another Brick in the Wall part 2, always reminds me of the festive season, while possibly being one of the bleakest Christmas period songs.

Squeeze, this summer.  Another great reminding of the end of summer 95 into that wet September

Yes remember that one, another at the same time was Berri - 'The Sunshine after the rain', re-released from late 1994, and Michael Jackson - You are not alone.

I remember those. Micheal Jackson was September 1995.

Must admit though, I wasn’t a fan of Jacko’s output post Bad(1987-89), but there were still some quality tracks from Dangerous.

Going way off topic, so apologies for digressing.

I can’t believe 1995 is 25 years ago. That whole mid 90s period sticks out for me, especially 1993-96ish, and now it’s so long ago.

You probably remember M People, D:Ream and Haddway then?

Those acts remind me of spring/summer 1993, the cold autumn of 93, and the winter of 93/94, with the chilly November, and the snowy spell of mid February 1994.

Remember Kiss100 played Ur the Best Thing - by D Ream. One of the remixes they played was my favourite.

Back when kissFm played plenty of dance and house music, and not the Katy Perry rubbish of now.
