Might not happen but more than the one run showing the low to the west higher pressure to the east/ SE type of flow that would be a plume in summer47DA661A-D5AB-4E22-801A-0B0DB4F5277C.thumb.png.5f1ad698d90a86fa5dd879686d8c6dee.pngFECC3FCA-D20C-454B-AEF2-DD963B1C9C84.thumb.png.d313a326b1c101b90bf41033ed3f9974.pngB8C003F6-2BBB-485D-9D7D-4193610582F4.thumb.png.25c36ab30f895d9e032abc9b7ef26fb7.png

Day 1 Convective Outlook

VALID 06:00 UTC Tue 23 Mar 2021 - 05:59 UTC Wed 24 Mar 2021

ISSUED 08:31 UTC Tue 23 Mar 2021

ISSUED BY: Dan

A shortwave trough will swing northeastwards across Scotland on Tuesday evening, the associated cold pool aloft steepening mid-level lapse rates and generating a few hundred J/kg CAPE in response to SSTs. Clusters of showers will tend to affect western Scotland, the Northern Isles and far NW Ireland during the evening and night hours, and may produce a few isolated lightning strikes (greatest risk Outer Hebrides to Shetland). Hail and gusty winds will accompany some of the showers.

When? Not seeing a lot of potential in the models for anything more than a few light showers.

There`s something amazingly calming about time lapsed clouds in any form. I'm liking the addition of the music as well

Nice One.....as always

Wednesday afternoon and evening could have a chance for storms to develop, there’s a front moving south and also a bit of a boundary of warmer / cooler upper air with the best chance along that I think FDE1848C-4AB0-4974-B20F-538C1016F189.thumb.png.47a3b4528fd8319c946a5e875599525b.png0C110FC3-B8B4-4424-A4F9-E02335F1C057.thumb.png.5abca057cb743f05040376e9495a6785.png

The ONLY thing i'm maybe looking forward to with regards to this upcoming dank spell, is the chance of a squall moving north to south on sunday - quite unusual in a way because i normally see them move west to east - I have a really really good view over Andover to the north so might get out there to film it arrive if its in daylight hours.
