More torrential rain and very gusty wind here now. Lightning activity in the channel seems to be picking up

If you look back to posts in here this morning the Convective Weather forecast was shared which mentioned a ‘Comma Low’ along the Channel coast.

Heaviest echoes just about to pass to the south of my location. Expecting at least a distant rumble.
 

Very dark, but probably due in part to the dusk
