I recorded it and sped it up a bit so you can see the clear rotation.

If you look in the top left corner, it looks like a funnel. Anyone else’s thoughts on this?! I’m very intrigued to know...

Definitely a funnel Zak:oldgood:

Deal is going to get washed into the sea isn’t it? Stuck in a line of constant white shading on the radar. Not great tbh.

So close and so loud the video couldn't pick it up i had to cover my ears

There was a weird 'Tap/Crack' noise just as the lightning hit, but before the thunder.

Interesting sscreenshots show how there were two connected and how they got caught in the middle on the 3rd one and how it starts off at the bottom and at the top

Probably hearing a leader before the main strike

I'd call that a funnel  'twas definitely spinning like a top.

p.s. for anyone using WMPC use Alt+numpad 1 to rotate the video.

Haven’t really been able to see any cloudscapes here as it’s been too cloudy overhead but a small break to the west has revealed this.

Considering the massive blob coming at you on the radar, you won't be for long  (more like Flooded  )

Just some heavy convective rain will do!! I need something exciting other than light rain! Why is this area so cursed?

everytime it's rained very hard it's thundered

Opposite here, every time it's not raining I can here thunder to my north and east from the deal line, hope they are alright. But when it rains I can't hear that, and there's no thunder or lightning in the stuff over Dover now.

Spoke to soon, there's finally been a distant rumble from somewhere here, with rain. Very distant though.
