Loud thunder has just been heard from this cell

Just had to go up a ladder and clear out a downpipe. The water was backflowing under the eaves and getting in to the loft. I found a small tree growing in it!

Wiping the water off my weather station's Lux sensor and a loud boom from the heavens occurred. I'd presume it's the storm to my SE causing it.

And another one as I'm just typing this.

My lightning detector is going off. That would be the storm just passing to my east.

No thunder heard as of yet.

Drove through a very localised ocean opening just south of Bristol, only about a mile or so wide. Dry either side.

Thunder heard! That sounded like a pretty powerful boom considering the fact that the storm is quite far away.

22mm in 20 mins here in Hedge End with a few fumbles of thunder as it headed east, that’s just under 4 inches since Monday here now which is more than we’ve had in the preceding 4 months!

I heard a few booms from that storm to my north, looks like I'll be in it soon.
