Wales could be in for some decent activity. Lots of false strikes in the phallic lobe of weatherlessness though

It’s funny - if someone had said back in January “Hey move to wales and get a job at Tesco’s” I wouldn’t have considered it as a particularly viable plan. But with the way the weather has gone along with the way the chancellor’s SEISS scheme seems to consistently leave me empty-handed I really wish I had

I'm not sure what people are expecting in the East tonight? 

I can't see any developments and steering winds are SW to NE.

Seems to be an awful lot of false returns this evening over the channel and near the south coast, anyone any idea why?

This was on Blitzortung, maybe they’ve altered the filter or something because it’s not normally this over-dramatic

With all this talk of supercells I wouldn't be that shocked if it was.  I presume the wind is noteworthy down even if the lightning is not?

Very windy here hearing soo many bins being blown around this is unusual for August!

It certainly looks far more impressive on the radar than the amount of lightning being detected would suggest

As earlier in Ireland there doesn't have to be much lightning for it to be Impressive
