It's been about 10 mins or so, and the right tower, of the pair has weakened and dropped down away from the Anvil, whilst the left one has gotten much stronger

The camera doesn't do justice, but that Cb at the back is proper tall, like tall as in "is a farts-distance away from the ISS." Wow.

Looks very dark to my west with all those cells closing in on me.

Well... erm... I've had to rotate the image I had taken from the top of that main Cb, all I'll say is "it's given me flashbacks to an ex from many years back."

Some powerful stuff edging from Bromsgrove now in towards Brum...we missed it but I will upload video of partial tornado as far I could tell when the cell was developing.

Very dark skies moving in from the SW here, hoping for one last hurrah if it doesn't all fizzle out.

People of Bedford you’re never allowed to complain again. The search goes on for a real storm here unbelievably the heatwave didn’t produce. Last nights deluge obscured everything but was very sporadic so really didn’t miss out on anything. I think the storms will come when I least expect it. A good lesson you don’t need heat to get an epic storm we’ve seen this in Scotland etc.

Loads of towering cumulus forming behind the line of storms, I wonder if they will produce a few sparks...

Anvil over Birmingham is looking A++ from here in Stoke on Trent (pity the leylandii forest is in the way as usual as it steals the camera focus... urgh...  )

This cumulonimbus went up quickly to my south, which is probably over Berkhamsted

Edit: That cell has electrified now.

Yet another that's bypassed me but is heading north (picture taken in the direction of RAF Fairford.)
