Things may be waking up south of the West Mids, i'll say this then it will die a rapid death, (so sshh).

I'm seeing a few strikes on Real time lightning maps but I'm not hearing any thunder yet , last week it was the opposite way round !

Some great pics today, here's a couple to add to the collection. More thunderstorms coming to life in the Midlands now, also just had the heaviest downpour today.

possible hook echo on cell near eynsham, am filming what appears to be a wall cloud or something thats rotating atleast, did see something that looked almost like smoke/steam but i think its scud.

edit 2: my video is crap because i opened the window without thinking which it then focuses on for most of the vid but it does appear there was rotation.

Are you actually serious? The one actual chance to get a decent storm ***** up and instead I end up hearing distant rumbles to my North again?! What a way to top up and already terrible week in Stratford.

It's looking pretty from my location looking towards RAF Fairford direction. All is travelling north.
