Short video of me and my partner watching the Peterborough cell go by, there are better videos out there but I think it shows just how strong the winds were (the car was shaking). There was a lot of debris on the roads including a downed tree!

Had another strong storm later in the evening with plenty more rain, but the wind was replaced with lightning!

Was on A46 earlier between Stratford and warwick where there was serious flooding...tried to upload pics but no signal...this was an unbelievable storm & worse rain than Shrewsbury the other night because it didn't seem to be moving anywhere .Started my hairy journey thru Redditch and Henley in arden.A34 was just a river..so i Cut thru snitterfield and was flooded out...i managed to get thru eventually.....turned off for Stratford upon Avon and met this....scared me to death going thru it & was impossible to turn round.... full vids going on youtoob shortly.

Yep, something’s definitely brewing over London (zoomed in a bit so you can see it more clearly)

Seen three IC sparks from the London cell

Another trying to go up to the south which if it succeeds may come much closer to me

Pic of nearer potential cell (First) and the current London storm (second pic - notice they turkey towers fuelling the second updraft)

Edit - make that 4. Must be benefiting from cooler uppers and nocturnal cooling!

Not so sure I'm going to get lucky anymore. No lightning showing up over Lincolnshire now and on the radar it looks like the band is weakening and breaking up. Looks like the Lincolnshire shield fell today but annoyingly it looks like the N Lincs shield is going to hold firm

I can see parts of the London cells but there's a house blocking most of the big one. Trying to spot any IC lightning that sparks off as you guys have seen!

The primary updraft over London still flashing away but there’s a secondary updraft that could start flashing soon I reckon. Hoping the separate more easterly cell starts flashing soon
