Lightning visible, and thunder heard, to the west yesterday evening between 2020 and 2100 g.m.t but it remained dry here. St spread in from the North Sea shortly after sunrise and is only now beginning to thin allowing a few bright intervals.

Warm and cloudy for the most part overnight, odd spot of rain. Turning clear around 0300 GMT. A clear start this morning before low cloud moved in from the North Sea around 06:30 GMT. At observation, cloudy hazy.

Yesterday.

 

Very warm overnight, variable cloud. Almost continuous lightening was observed from storms well to the south and SW of this location from mid evening well in to the early hours, no thunder heard.  Dawning very warm with broken cloud. Storm cells clouds observed to the SE. Most of the cloud dispersed well before the observation allowing long spells of very warm sunshine. Very humid. Turning hot once again in long sunny spells. Turning cloudy through the evening.

A warm and muggy night, storms just skirted past to the SW with a little rain, min temp was 18.0c. Clear skies at dawn but low cloud moved in and is now beginning to retreat again.

A rather cold day with clear skies being replaced with low cloud mist. The mist has now lifted but no sign of the cloud lifting
