Hot and horrible with a low of 21.1c, did get to see some distant lightning last night though!

Dry and very muggy once more with  not much cloud, the lowest was 17.7 C which is the highest Min this month, up to 19.0 C already with the Td on 18 C

No rainfall or storms last night.I did wonder if I saw lightning in the early hours?

Having checked the Net Wx Extra, obviously quite a major storm not far west of here, noted by Pit and TM. No rainfall here.

A very short spell of heavy rain around 00 g.m.t, accompanied by almost continuous lightning and high level thunder for around an hour as a storm moved north just to the west of here. Once that had cleared the night was dry, warm and humid with the residual cloud gradually dispersing after dawn to leave a dry, warm and sunny start to the day.

Very warm overnight, variable cloud. Almost continuous lightening was observed from storms well to the south and SW of this location from mid evening well in to the early hours, no thunder heard.  Dawning very warm with broken cloud. Storm cells clouds observed to the SE. Most of the cloud dispersed well before the observation allowing long spells of very warm sunshine. Very humid.

Another warm night, again low cloud moved in from the North Sea. Cloudy and misty start. Cloudy this morning, still misty, a few chinks of brightness appearing.  The low cloud cleared away late morning allowing good sunny spells, turning hot by afternoon. Staying dry here.

Fantastic storm here in the Boxmoor/Hemel area, temps dropped from 33.9c to 24c in half an hour, roads like rivers huge ammount of lightning and my glorious roses have been destroyed, i suppose it was worth it....of course it was.

A brief light shower this morning with thunder heard for a time, before turning sunny but hazy.

The max temp was 23.5C after a min temp of 15.9C. 0.6mm of rainfall in total.

Currently 18.8C and still sunny.
