Autumnal cool sunny start at 7.5c with a heavy dew.The usual north of Scotland  frost hollows are down to single figure numbers eg Aboyne at 1.7c with a probable ground frost in some. What a country of contrasts the UK is weatherwise.

After leaden skies this morning there is not a cloud in the sky, temps have responded showing 27.3c and climbing, also it's alot less windy here than yesterday so 30.0c+ is on the cards i believe.

Well a glimpse or two of the sun early afternoon but only less than 3/8 of FCu from low ST in the last hour or so, disappointing but the warning was on the Watnall 00Z ascent with some 60 mb of cloud to burn off.

Cloudless skies here and little wind have meant temps have climbed into the to the 30's again, indeed 32.5c here, sadly this is becoming the norm in summer and i fear the new heat age is upon us.
