A beautiful altocumulus castellanus sunrise this morning.

Oo she's a beauty

My first attempt at storm shots 🤷‍♂️ (Please don't judge 🤣) The cells are impressive tonight!

Threatening skies all around this part of North Essex, a few spots of rain starting to fall. No thunder or lightening though.

Not sure what the BBC are so confident about with an 80% chance of a “thundery shower” at 23:00 😆😆

    Thank you

Wasn't sure about posting the first one, it looks a bit suspect on closer inspection, the cloud,  or is it just me? 😂😂

Quite frustrating, nearly every time lightning is within miles from me, both lightning maps and blitzortung fail to register any of the strikes? I'm just outside Aylesbury in Bucks and there's no sign despite seeing at least a flash a minute and hearing more rumbles.

It has been going on for at least 20 minutes. Came in from Berkampsted way. Getting at least a flash a minute. Nothing on either lightning detectors and they're working because they're picking up the French ones.
