It’s just a constant low grumble. This better not fall apart as it moves slowly west.

Fingers crossed! That's what that Eastleigh storm was like. I think I can hear the odd rumble now. Looks like something Alresford way is on the up

Sat24 suggesting some lumpy cloud developing along the N Kent coast/Thames Estuary. Difficult to tell whether that’s just crud or something more interesting. Couple of light blue specs showing on radar.

Looks like the London cell might be splitting, with the northern half bowing.

Yes, I know my radar is 20 mins off. Won't update for some reason.

Something trying to pop here by the looks of it. Gone very dark.

UPDATE:

I'm pretty sure I just heard thunder

Just had a storm in North Dorset. Biblical rainfall constant thunder but not much lightning to be seen. I think most of it was intra cloud.

Is it a direct East-West flow now? Or WNW? Because if that develops it’ll come by me

Wow, parts of Mid and W Devon getting an absolutely pasting.

Quiet as you like daan saaf in Kingsbridge

I know! Gone grey and muggy in Torquay. Not a storm in sight. With the rest of the country having so much fun, the FOMO is killing me!

Looking at the radar and seeing what’s happening in Kent in comparison to Essex is very depressing

Nothing happening in this bit of Kent, lovely sunshine aside of course.

Enjoy!! It's still growing. Looks like it's merging with the Alresford cell so we are going to be sharing!
