Seeing some ridiculously frequent lightning to my SE!! Once every few seconds. Saw a flash also that lasted for about 7 seconds.

That’s mental! Supervision Zak at work again lol. North Sea crud has unfortunately hindered clear viewing for me at the moment. It has to be that stuff over France that you’re seeing.

Oh bloody hell Mitch! Ouch, how did that happen?!

I got angry that I didn't see storms , my vantage point was behind the cell, country side road and no other way to get around, so I charged full heartedly into the storm, was going well till a gust and a car pulled out on me on a soaked road so bike slipped under me, layed in the rain for a good 30mins in pain -_- and guess what, there was no electrical activity in the cell as i rode into it!

Low cloud from the North Sea must be coming into play as I haven't seen a single flash for a few minutes now.

@Mitch perrott I broke my collarbone in December last year. It wasn't fun.

Why can’t it be a Sussex Smasher as opposed to a Kent clipper for once? Haha

I was hoping for a Norfolk Nudger

Jesus Christ! I mean I got in my Mum's effing renault (temp insured while my car was being serviced) on Mond night chasing storms, only to breakdown and fork out £150 to the RAC.....but that's nout compared to what you've said!

I think we should have a Mitch Perrott fundraiser......get this man a return ticket to Oklahoma City and VIP access to a pick-up truck with all the latest dopplar radars and lightning trackers!!!!! I think you deserve it lad!

After the last lot fizzled out and hit the Reigate Dome of Resistance, I'm hoping the next batch coming out of France might hold out and give us something. Anything. Rain will do, honestly!

(At last, kitten having a wash. No longer eating my toes...  I never knew kittens could be so exhausting. makes bringing up our 2 kids seem a doddle.)

North Sea crud has definitely made itself present now. Went from hero to zero in the space of 20 seconds! Haven't been able to see a single flash for quite a while now.

Attempted to film some of the lightning too. Lightning was just too faint for the camera to pick up unfortunately but I managed to catch a perseid meteor at least

Always tends to come along at the wrong moments, it’s so irritating! It has had a history of preceding some humdingers in the past though.

Edit: It had cleared!! All eyes are to the SE! Good news is it should clear for you too, shortly.
